I love tea. Its perfect for warming you up on cold mornings and soothing and relaxing you before bed. And these teas are my winter staples. They can easily be found at any grocery store, they’re tasty and most importantly they are incredibly affordable.
My first winter-y tea is Celestial Seasonings “Candy Cane Lane”. This tea is a decaffeinated, gluten free, green tea with 100% natural ingredients and flavors. It is laced with hints of sweet vanilla and soothing mint. It leaves the mouth with a cool and tingly sensation that kicks all of those holiday-candy-cravings right in the @$$. It is pretty much Candy Cane in the mug.
The next festive tea is Tetley Chai Vanilla. I know chai is not for everyone and a lot of people don’t like it, but I LOVE IT. It’s so warm and inviting. This black tea is incredibly fragrant and I would purchase it for no other reason that just to smell it. It is obviously a warm vanilla-y scent, but it also envelopes all of these other beautiful scents such as the smells of ginger, cloves and cardamom and sends it right into your nasal cavity. It goes down smooth and warms you from the inside out.
Next up on the Holiday Favorites Tea List is Tetley Chai Chocolate. Another winter essential tea for if no other reason- it smells remarkable. Much like the Tetley Chai Vanilla it has hints of ginger, cinnamon, cardamom… But it also has other ingredients such cocoa beans and licorice root. It is comfort in a cup that you really can enjoy year round, but especially on cold days.
Finally, last on the list is Celestial Seasonings “Gingerbread Spice” herbal tea. This tea smells a bit strong in the box and in the mug, however it tastes almost exactly like a gingerbread cookie. It embraces the ginger and cinnamon perfectly, but it also leaves a little bit of spiciness in the mouth- especially at the bottom of the mug. This tea is also gluten free and caffeine free.
I hope that you all are able to enjoy and try these teas! If you do I would love to hear from you.
Eat, drink and ENJOY!
P.S.- HAPPY HOLIDAYS
