The Perfect Chewy Gingerbread Cookie

The perfect mix of warm festive flavours all bundled into a tiny crinkley, chewy cookie

WHAT YOULL NEED

– 2 tbs oil

– 1/4 cup fancy molasses

-1/3 cup margarine

– 1 cup brown sugar

– 1 egg

– 2 cups all purpose flour

– 1 tsp baking soda

– 2 tsp ground ginger

– 2 tsp nutmeg

– 1 tsp cloves

– 2 tbs cinnamon

1. Preheat oven to 350

2. mix together oil, margarine, molasses, egg and brown sugar. Mix until well blended

3. In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking soda, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon

4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix by hand with a spatula. Continue to mix until well combined.

5. Line two baking sheets with wax paper or non stick spray. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.

6. Bake for 8-10 minutes and let cool
